The Sound of Music

I keep my cell phone in one pocket and the Bluetooth earbuds in the pocket with my wallet. The earbuds case regularly falls out of my pocket when I lean back in my chair. I was working out on the patio today, and my earbuds case fell out of my pocket. So I reached down and picked it up. Later in the bedroom, I wanted to play music on my cellphone. But I couldn't get any sound to come out. First, I said to myself I must have Do Not Disturb on. But I didn't. Then I told myself that if the earbud case battery is low, the sound comes out of the earbuds in the case, which is different because they usually come on after you take them out and connect to Bluetooth. So, I opened my earbud case and found only one earbud in the case. So I started to search the house for the other earbud. Sometimes, I only wear one earbud and take it out in the office or around the house. I searched and searched and couldn't find it. Then I remembered my case falling out of my pocket on the patio. So, I went out on the patio in my pyjamas and heard a faint sound of music. The earbud was behind my chair. I guess when the case fell out of my pocket, the case opened, and one of the earbuds shot out.

Bug Poop

I was eating Tositos and Hummus at my desk for my midnight snack and accidentally dropped the Olive Hummus container on the floor. Fortunately, it fell the right way up. But some black olive pieces flew out of the container onto the floor. I picked up the ones I could see, but they were black and hard to see on our dark brown hardwood floor. As luck would have it, Mom was sweeping my office floor the next day and saw these black specks of dirt. She told me that night that she thought there was bug poop on the floor of my office. And I told her the story of dropping the Olive Hummus container the night before.

9999999999...

I got my hand caught in my water glass, and my full glass of water spilled on my desk. A little of the water fell on my USB keyboard. Later that night, I was typing, and all of a sudden, the computer started typing "999999999999999999..." I said, "Oh no, I broke my keyboard again." I couldn't stop it from typing 9's. Then I realized I put a big bag of Doritos on the keyboard of my laptop, and since my laptop was still live, the bag was heavy enough to press down the 9 key.
