Laura went the book signing of Nick Offerman’s
autobiography. He is a star on the
popular television show Parks and Recreation.
His autobiography was a New York Times bestseller. She bought me an autographed copy of the book
for Christmas.
In the show, he plays a Tea Party Republican. So I didn’t think I would have anything in
common with him.
I read the first page.
He said he was born in 1970 the year that Randy Newman released his 12
Songs LP. That was one of the first LP’s
I ever bought. I love Randy Newman. Maybe I have more in common with him than I
thought.
