Carp

I was back in Ottawa the next weekend and coaching my competitive team in the Carp Tournament.  I was driving to the game on Sunday morning and I got two texts.  I was on the highway so I didn't check them.  Then I got two phone calls.  I didn't answer them but I knew something was wrong.  I thought maybe I had gotten the game time wrong and that it was at 10 am not 11 am like I thought.  When I got the park a 10:15 all the guys were coming off the field.  I guess the game was at 9 am and we had lost 13-2 in five innings.  Fortunately, I had left instructions to the other guys about what I was going to do with the lineup but the guys were kidding me quite a lot.  After the game we were scheduled to play the playoffs in the afternoon and the team captain told everyone that I shouldn't be allowed to leave the park.
