Spare Keys

I went to get spare keys made to give to our neighbour Betsy to keep for us when we go back to Canada.  I tested them and they worked on the door knob, the deadbolt and the garage door.  So I took them over to Betsy's house to give them to her.  When I mentioned that I had keys for her, she said she still had keys from last year.  She showed me the keys and they were on a key chain that Laura had given Barb with a big 'B' on it.  I said I didn't know if those keys even worked and gave her the new keys that I got made and took the old keys with me.  When I got home, I checked the keys that Betsy had given me and they both worked.  So the effort to make new keys was all a waste of time and money.  And Barb had mentioned that we might as well leave a set of keys with Betsy which we will have to remember that we did.
