Sarah took me to CORA's for Father's Day and it was
terrible. The food was cold and the
sausages were not cooked. It was crowded
and noisy with lots of loud kids. Then
when the waitress was pouring me a cup of coffee, she knocked over my cup and
it almost scalded me in my lap.
Fortunately, as soon as I saw the coffee spilling, I pushed my chair
back away from the table, so the coffee wouldn't land on my lap. The people at the next table thought I had
very fast reactions to get out of the way so quickly. It was fortunate that the family sitting at
the table behind me had already left or I would have crashed my chair into them
and someone would probably have been hurt I pushed my chair with so much force. I waitress gave me a free meal but we still complained
to the cashier about the cold food and she got the manager. The manager said that they had served over
400 families today and no one else had complained about cold food. He gave us all of our meals for free though. We will probably not be going back to CORA's
any time soon.
What an awful experience! Unbelievable!!! I am glad you could get out of the way so fast! Fathers are known to have very fast reactions to protect their kids and themselves! And old men at baseball games!!!!
