Distributel

We were told that it would no problem to move our internet and phone service to New Hamburg.  They told us the service in New Hamburg was not quite as good as in Ottawa.  We could get 10 Gbits download but only 1 Gbits upload.  Barb said that was okay with us.  We didn’t have any choice anyway.  So she set up an appointment for the telephone guy to come to our house on the Thursday after we arrived because they said they needed 7 days notice.

When we got to New Hamburg, the Distributel guys phoned us and told us he had to talk to us before he could set up the appointment with the telephone guy.  He asked us if it was okay if we only got 1 Gbits upload.  Barb said that we had already told them that it was okay.  He said that if that was the case he could now set up the appointment for the telephone guy to come to our house in 7 days.
