Schedule

I always talk about how great ChatGPT is and how I use it in my work. I was planning my time at the workshop in Spain. So I gave ChatGPT the schedule and said it was in Central European Time, and I was in Eastern Time. I told it I wanted a conflict-free schedule and told it my interests so it knew which sessions I would like to attend. It gave me what it thought I wanted. But it had so much trouble figuring out how to convert the times. Sometimes, it converted them right, and other times, it converted them wrong. After about an hour of getting it to check its work, I had a good plan for the workshop sessions to attend. I was bragging to Mom about how great ChatGPT was. Mom looked at the schedule I had printed out and immediately noticed that the workshop started at 2 am and ended at 6 pm. She said no one would work that long a day. I thought ChatGPT knew what it was doing. So, I got up early the next day and started attending sessions. I was checking the schedule online and noticed that ChatGPT had gotten it wrong and was even making things up out of thin air because it thought that was what I wanted. The workshop only went until noon, but ChatGPT made up sessions all afternoon that it thought I would like.

So, as I was sitting in the first session, I asked ChatGPT to fix its mistakes, and it repeatedly gave me bad schedules but said it had checked its work. I told it that it wasn't doing it right and asked it what it was doing. It said it was sorry and that I deserved a proper schedule. Then, it told me it had a new plan to get the schedule right and asked me if I wanted to start over. I said okay, and we started over. But after about a half hour, it still couldn't do it. I said I was going to give up. It said it had a new plan, and I said to forget it. It was a humbling experience since I always said ChatGPT was the greatest thing ever. It was just trying to make me happy.
