I attended a virtual workshop in Spain this weekend. It ran from 8 am to 6 pm in Spain, which was 2 am to noon in my time. I tried to attend as much as I could for the four days, but I slept through a lot of it. After the workshop, I could watch many replays on the website. I made a list of all of the available replays. I sent the list to my colleagues, saying I could record them and share them because they couldn't attend.
I didn't realize how difficult that would be. There are many steps to recording a video on Zoom.
The first one I tried to record, I forgot to share my screen and taped two hours of silence with my portrait on the screen. Of course, I didn't realize my mistake until I looked at the recording after the two-hour session.
Another time, I forgot to share the audio on the recording and taped two hours of presentations without the audio, which was useless.
Then, I forgot to hit record another time and didn't tape anything while the session played for two hours.
Mom was amazed that I didn't get mad and give up. I just kept trying over and over again.
