Long Walk

Today was Sarah’s convocation at Guelph.  I thought I knew where I was going and parked where I normally park.  But then we found out that we had to walk for about 30 minutes across campus to get to the building where the convocation was taking place.  When we got there we found there was special parking right across the road from the building.  We saw Sarah graduate and were disappointed when the announcer stumbled over her name which was stupid because her name was the simplest name possible compared to many of the foreign students.  Afterwards we took a ton of pictures of Sarah with her friends around the campus.  Barb fell in love with one of Sarah’s friend’s mother.  She was so thin and looked just as young as her daughter.  Ali drove us back to our car so we didn’t have to take that long walk again.  Then we drove to Sarah’s apartment and opened Sarah’s birthday presents.  Sarah was so happy about the kitchen ware Barb bought her for her birthday.
