Barb and I drove Laura to the airport and after dropping her
off, we went to Costco. As we were
entering Costco, the power went out and we walked in the entrance in the
dark. The power came back on quickly and
we went shopping. After shopping we went
to get something to eat. We were
standing in line and listening to the people behind the counter explain hope
the ovens blew a fuze and were no longer able to make the hot food. Most people were there to buy slices of pizza
and there was only one pizza left that was made before the power went out. One lady at the front of the line wanted to
buy a whole pizza but the guy behind the counter told her that they were not
able to cook anymore whole pizzas. The
lady said that she would just buy the pieces of the last pizza. She wanted to the pieces put in a box but the
guy behind the counter said it was against the policy to put pieces in a
box. I think he didn't want her to buy
all of the pieces and leave everyone else without any pieces. She insisted that she wanted the pieces in a
box. So the guy behind the counter went
behind the ovens to talk to the manager.
Then he and manager came out and told the lady that it was against their
policy to put pieces in a box. So she
said that she would take them all individually on plates.
