When the truck was fixed and we got the car back on the trailer, the man was asking Laura about her plans and Laura said she was driving to Vancouver. The man asked if she was going up the 400 highway and Laura said no she was planning to go through the US. The man said that maybe that wasn’t a good idea because a Uhaul truck is considered a commercial truck and she would need a manifest with a list of everything she was carrying. Otherwise they would take all the stuff out of the truck at the border. I thought Laura was lucky she found that out before she got to the border. So her plans suddenly changed and she was now going to take the Trans Canada Highway across the country to Vancouver.
