Hiking

Sarah had asked us a couple of weeks ago if were available on October 27^th.  We said we were and wrote in our calendar a Sarah Surprise.  On Saturday morning, I woke up but was still in bed and Barb said you better get up, we are leaving in about an hour.  Barb said that Sarah was taking us for a hike but it was cold and raining.  I said couldn’t we do it next weekend.  Barb said no we couldn’t.  So we went out and picked up Sarah and we drove to Hamilton for a surprise belated birthday present.  We went to the football game between the Ticats and the Ottawa Red Blacks.  Sarah got excellent seats from a season ticket holder’s resale website.  We got to our seat and it was cold and raining and windy.  A couple of old men sat down in front of us with plastic raincoats on.  And a group of young women were sitting close to us and they sounded so keen and sounded like great Ticat fans.  The old men lasted about 10 minutes and the women were gone by the end of the first quarter.  Barb was blocking the wind from us and she was not happy.  She said next year Sarah should pick a game in July.
