We get our American money transferred from our Canadian bank
account once a month through the Snowbirds Association. We hadn't needed to transfer any money all
summer because we had kept the money we got from selling our house in Crystal Lake in our
American account to pay the bills. But
we were running low now. So Barb
contacted Snowbirds and told them she wanted to start transferring $2000 a
month from Canada. But Barb was planning to buy a Smart Car and
found out that the prices were higher than she thought. So she emailed the Snowbirds and told them
that for the month of December she wanted them to transfer $5000. Then when we couldn't make a deal on a Smart
Car, we didn't need the extra money and so Barb emailed them back and told them
that she only wanted the $2000 again.
The Snowbirds lady must have thought we were nuts.
