We were discussing my part-time job in high school as a pot
washer in the hospital kitchen. I told Laura
I made $13.65 an hour and she calculated on her phone what that would be in
today's dollars. She found that it would
be over $65 an hour. I told her that I
am only making $58 an hour right now in my part-time job for DND. It is no wonder that they have closed the
kitchen and are now shipping the meals in by truck from Toronto.
