Softball 'R Us

I went to the softball store and bought a baseball bag because I had decided that I didn't want to bring my big bag to Florida since it was getting full of holes.  I picked out a little knapsack type of baseball bag with pockets on both sides to hold my bats.  It was just the right size for my gloves and shoes but I would not be able to carry very many balls in it. It had a nice pocket on top where I could hold my batting gloves and thumbs guards.  I could also put my wallet and watch and keys in the pocket while I am playing.  It also had a neat little hook on the top that was so that you could hang it up of the fence.  I also bought a pair of grey baseball pants.  I only had white pants at home and I needed grey pants for when I was coaching the Waterloo Wizards who have grey jerseys.  I tried on Large and Extra Large pants and the Extra Large looked way too big but the Large looked too small.  I bought the Large pants anyway.  When I showed them to Barb, she laughed and asked me if I was expecting a flood.  The pants were very short.  Fortunately, Barb was able to let down the seam and make the legs a little longer.  Then they fit pretty nicely.
